I was tagged by
Atikah and
Maisarah long time ago since my previous post. And I don't really like to follow the rules (tapi yang wajib diikut itu jangan pernah diabaikan), so I don't want to tag others and I want to list some facts about Manipal and me.

Since Im going to leave Manipal in 2 months time, lets talk about it.
1. I arrived Manipal 2 years back with nothing. And now, I feel like Im going to leave lot lot of things. Bunyi macam sedih pulak nak tinggal Manipal. Tapi macam tak sabar.

2. I like Manipal for their milk and milk products are very cheap and nice. I always bought 3 dozens of Amul milk in one shot.
3. When it comes to rainy season, there would be a persistent non stop raining for 24 hours. I like the scene when everyone holds their umbrella and wear their raincoat (macam-macam corak dan warna). It was a colorful and an attrative phenomenone where you dont see this in Malaysia.
4. As said by a tempe, 'Manipal never have any proper festival celebrations', I celebrated Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Aidil Adha for this 2 years with the most basic things. Can't wait to berkunjung ke rumah sanak saudara this coming Raya. Insya Allah.

(Nak duit raya jugak.Duit raya pending for 2 years)
5. If we took a bus from Manipal to anywhere, we cannot really sleep at all since the drivers on the road love to use their killed-sleep-weapon. The HORN!. Sangat bising and annoying. But recently I found that I was immunized with those weapons. I simply fell asleep, deep sleep from Manipal to Karkala back and forth.

6. It is a normal scene to see a lot of people sleep by the road side or any kaki lima. I mean those kind of people yang tak berumah, hidup sebatang kara. They dont care about their sleeping location, as long as they can sleep. Jangan terkejut kalau anda buka pintu rumah anda pagi-pagi nak pergi kelas, ada sebatang tubuh terbaring di luar.
7. When it comes to food, I like the way they established their business. Most of the restaurant, have the delivery services. You may order anything even sekeping pisang goreng (exaggerated fact) to your house. So, if it was a rainy season like nowaday, no need to susah payah redah hujan untuk mencari sesuap makan. Hanya dail nombor yang berkenaan.

8. Incident of diarrhea is the most common thing happened here. Ones can suffer this anywhere and anytime. Bacalah bismillah elok-elok before makan. Oh, the most memorable diarrhea event which recently happened was during my trip to Ooty with 9 of my friends. We called it as diarrhea berjemaah dimana only 3 of us yang tak kena, the rest, 7 of them bergilir-gilir masuk toilet. Alhamdulillah saya terselamat dalam insiden ni. Dahlah few hours before that, dah ada sesi muntah berjemaah dek jalan ke Ooty macam ular kena palu.
9. To differentiate between orang asal Manipal and pelancong, usually pelancong will stare at you more. I mean more than their local always did. And the most obvious sign that they are the pelancong, they will ask your permission to take a picture with you. Dan anda akan diteka sebagai orang Jepun, Cina, Nepal, Tibet, Korea, Iran, Singapore, etc then bila dijawab Malaysia, they most probably say: 'Oh, Malaysian truly Asian!'
10. Ala kulli haal, saya akan merindui Manipal satu hari nanti. Terlalu banyak perkara 'first time' yang saya dapat. Got a lot of friends, new things, different experiences, and stories to tell.
Pediatric posting baru sahaja berakhir. It was a Karkala posting. Exciting posting also. Everyday you will deal with cute innocent faces of kids. Some of them are newborn. They will give you a spontaneous smile as they're saying hi to you. But sometimes you might get hurt when you saw a 3 days baby trying to survive despite of her defects, having 50% mortality for 1 month, and 80% mortality for another 6 months. Their parent have no choice than to let her go. They cant afford the cost of the surgery. Ya Allah tabahnya mereka.
