Apa Boleh Buat..

Today is my first medicine posting in my life. (1st july, take notes!) So, typically on the first day, there'll be an introductory class, the overview of what will happen for the next 3 weeks of this posting. Arriving Karkala at 10.15 am, waiting for lecturer to come, I fell asleep at a corner with Valerie. The tiring journey was just psychologically made me feel sleepy, plus with that bas safari ride, in addition to the weather factor that is mendung dan sejuk sejuk nyaman.cool Dr Shashikiran appeared around 11.30am and started the class. My first impression when I saw him stepped into the class : Eh, macam abah. Rindu kat abah.neutral His appearance remind me of my abah. Not that his face looks like my abah, but maybe his beard and misai remind me of abah. Okay, dah lama saya tak balik rumah, muka orang lain pun dah nampak macam muka family sendiri. Apa boleh buat.

Surprisingly today I had to present the case of a lady who came with a complaint of shooting (or tingling kah?) pain sensation on her left half of the body from head to toe. Its not my turn yet to present the case, but it happened that Dr Shashikiran want to hear the case. Dengan segala ilmu yang memang sangat-sangat barely basic, saya dan 2 orang lagi rakan, bertungkus-lumus bersoal-jawab semasa case presentation. narutoAlhamdulillah he liked the presentation eventhough our guessing on the diagnose of that patient was far far away deviated. Confidently we said that the lady had diabetic neuropathy with those symptoms. Hehe. Simply put. But actually that lady has some specific defect in her parietal lobe of brain, the sensory part. It is a very rare case where we could hardly come across it in our lifetime and of course it is very hard to see if you are in the first day in medicine posting. smileWhat a lucky a batch. Bak kata Dr Shashikiran. Tak sampai hati saya tengok muka makcik tu menahan sakit. I wish I could do something. Tapi itulah, tak ada apa yang boleh dibuat selain urut-urut lengan bagi mengurangkan sakit beliau.

Life is always like that. There's a time when we have to face a very critical condition, and we dont have much options, but still we have to make a decision. The decision that is fair and square for everyone. Bukanlah bermaksud untuk memandang remeh kepada sesetengah perkara, apatah lagi buat-buat tak nampak akan perkara yang sememangnya terzahir. We need to think rationally, taking the opinion from everyone's side, avoiding selfishness. Putting ourselves in everyone's shoes. Cuba untuk memahami. Even so, people still talking about the wrong decision we'd make. I started to ponder what if it goes to another way around? Will we see this much of satisfaction from most of the people? I think there's no demarcation of which option is right, or which one is wrong, or slightly right and slightly wrong? Some matter always remain subjective, depending upon the way a person perceived it. After all, we are only human. Tak maksum. Tak boleh lawan adilnya yang Maha Adil. We do mistakes in our very best consideration. Apa boleh buat.

Ala kulli haal, dalam setiap perkara, cubalah buat yang terbaik mengikut kesesuaian suasana semasa. Bukan berlagak baik.
