Marhaban Ya Ramadhan

Bukan setakat bersawang, berkulat berhabuk, macam-macam la dah jadi dengan blog ni. Apa jadi lately? Tak sempat update. Bila rasa nak update mesti tengah tak ada internet connection. Makanya sangatlah lama tak bertukar tajuk blog ni.

I am in Medicine posting currently. Tired but always interesting. I used to love this posting since Sem 6, minus the traumatised end posting part. Tak payah ceritalah trauma tu, leave it behind. A past is a past. Teruskan berposting.

Sebulan berposting ENT, alhamdulillah everything went fine. (Kerja tengok lubang telinga, lubang hidung orang hari-hari). I feel excited everytime we went to watch operation. Be it major operation or minor procedure. Menarik. I dont know that preauricular sinus is so common in Malaysia until I watched the excision of it each time when I were posted to daycare centre.

Compare to ENT the Ophthalmology department got more women than men. I can say most of the pakar-pakar mata adalah perempuan. Tetiba macam berminat jugak. Hehe. Tengoklah nanti macam mana. Another one month, I was posted to this department, watching cataract surgery which is very common in Malaysia and every Wednesday we went to Peringgit Clinic for diabetic screening. So, this is the time when you can develop the skill to use the ophthalmoscope. Initially it was quite difficult to see what we supposed to see, but when you practice practice and practice, it will become better. Trust me. Alhamdulillah, Im quite satisfied with my end posting performance. Okla kot, pengalaman untuk sebulan je pun.

Ala kulli haal, both ENT and Ophthalmology postings are exciting and relaxing. Lecturers and hospital consultants are very helpful. Rindulah pulak posting yang relax relax ni...


Buang bayi merata-rata lately. Sedih dan geram bila dengar Maisarah cerita kejadian polis dan orang ramai yang jumpa mayat baby dalam tong sampah dekat hospital tengahari tadi. We were in PCU when the scene happened. Kind of tak percaya since pagi tadi baru dengar cerita orang buang bayi dekat hospital melaka jugak. Bulan Ramadhan dah kot. Agaknya kalau baby tu lahir-lahir boleh jalan boleh cakap, mesti lagi ramai baby terbuang kat wad-wad hospital. Those cases are the cases that have been reported and we knew. Yang tak tahu, tak report? wallahualam.

Sunnatullah bayi dilahirkan tak berdaya. Susahnya nak faham. Just wanna share this video. Terharu, sedih, binatang pun tahu sayang baby even bukan baby sendiri... Subhanallah..
