Langkawi Part 2

For a first timer like me, definitely I was super excited to be on a train in Malaysia. I heard my friends stories when they always took train to go here and there within Malaysia. Terengganu tak ada train okay. And I always been laughed by my friends for I never been on train in Malaysia. Apekah? Kat India pernah pulak naik train berhari-hari kan.

I told Wani how I amazed with this and that in the train, and she was like mampus tak layan with my excitement. Penat je excited.

Encik boleh saya tanya pasal tiket ni?

Yes, kenapa?

'N' ni maksudnya apa. Makanan normal ke?

Haha. Itu tiket bahasa Mangrris. Dalam bahasa Melayu maknanya tak ada!

La.. sepatutnya letaklah food, baru boleh letak N.

Takpun dah letak makanan, letaklah 'tiada'.


Serius pulak. Being hours in the train, I could not sleep. I banged into Wani's compartment every 5 minutes until she was tired to get annoyed with me. I'm not sure when I fell asleep, but I remembered I kept on waking up each time the train stopped until we reached Alor Setar.

Around 7am like that, pakcik staff KTM tu datang kejutkan cakap dah sampai Alor Setar. Dengan half mamai, we got down from the train and I called Alia to pick us up. Alia came few minutes later and brought us to her house to have food and shower bersiap-siap nak pergi Langkawi.

We got a ferry at 10.30 am and reached Langkawi jetty at 12pm. Here we go! Lama sangat tak datang Langkawi. Kali terakhir masa kecil. Hehe. Satu Langkawi kami pusing. It was sunny and very hot. We became darker. I did not feel like leaving the place, want to be in holiday forever. Trauma after p2s1 pun tak habis lagi. Takut pun ada nak masuk final year. Oh my go this break is coming to an end. Tak nak balik Melaka!!

We met Syikin who stays in Langkawi. We did island hopping together. We went to her house to get sesuap nasi since kami bertiga dah lembik jalan non stop the whole morning until 2pm!

Getting back to Alor Setar 3 days later, we went to Wani's aunty to get belacan. The house was about 30 minutes from Alia's place. Our stomach on that day were seriously full. Mi kuah in Wani's aunty, then nasi lauk sotong at Alia's, her mother gave bekal nuggets for our travel from Alor Setar to Dungun that night. Tired, full and sleepy. Complete package for our long journey. Sedihla kan tinggal Alia kat Kedah. Serious tak tipu.

Wani decided to follow me to Dungun. So, I just angkut her with me.
